Stories for little ones, rooted in Telugu tradition.

At Bhaalu Books, we believe language is one of the most powerful ways to stay connected to your roots. Through bilingual Telugu-English board books, we help families share their culture, stories, and traditions with their little ones—starting from the earliest years.

Run by two Telugu-American moms, Bhaalu Books was born out of a desire to preserve the Telugu language in a way that feels joyful, accessible, and modern. In a world where raising multilingual children can feel overwhelming, we make it easier by offering books that feature Telugu script and English transliteration—so families at every language level can read together.

  • To help parents and kids learn Telugu script naturally.
  • To make it possible to share Telugu stories even if you don’t speak the language fluently.
  • To connect children with their roots through playful, rhythmic storytelling.

We are proud to serve families of diverse backgrounds—whether you grew up speaking Telugu, are learning it alongside your child, married into it, or simply want to celebrate Telugu heritage in a meaningful way.
